As part of the Cloud Wars AI Agent and Copilot podcast elevaite365 Definition Series, John Siefert, CEO of Dynamics Communities and Cloud Wars, sat down with Magnus Perri, Group CEO of elevaite365 Test Automation to discuss the impact of AI-enhanced test automation on Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations.

The Impact of AI on Business

After introducing the elevaite365 Test Automation Definition Series, a three-part program designed to give Microsoft Dynamics 365 users deep insights into how AI-enhanced test automation is revolutionizing cloud ERP implementations, Siefert asks Perri to give his take on the biggest trends driving the broader AI moves in business.

“I think AI’s impact is everywhere,” says Perri. “I see three big trends driving AI adoption in businesses. One is automation of repetitive tasks.

“Businesses are using AI to automate everything from data entry to customer service, freeing up people to focus on higher-value work. The other one is data-driven decision-making … And the third thing is personalization at scale.

“AI is powering hyperpersonal life experiences, whether it’s in marketing, customer engagement, or even employee development.”

Moving on to AI in the ERP space, and the evolution of the AI-enhanced test automation category, Siefert asks Perri to explain the driving force behind a need for something different. “ERP implementations, especially Microsoft Dynamics 365, are notoriously complex and constantly evolving,” says Perri.

“Every organization customizes Dynamics to fit unique processes, and Microsoft is rolling out updates at a rapid pace.”

As a result, explains Perri, this moving target is incredibly hard to test with traditional methods. “Traditional testing is resource-intensive and expensive,” continues Perri. “With AI, you get scalable autonomous testing that reduces manual effort, shortens project timelines, and ultimately drives down cost.

“Put simply, AI-enhanced test automation turns the chaos of complexity and constant change in Dynamics 365 into a competitive advantage. So, you can move faster, deploy safer, and do more with less.”

elevaite365 Test Automation harnesses cutting-edge AI to power hyperautomation, freeing up hours that would otherwise be lost to manual work. Its groundbreaking self-repair feature detects any changes Microsoft introduces to its standard product and instantly “self-heals” affected test scripts. For example, if Microsoft renames a button from “Back” to “Close” — while other tools slip and demand manual fixes, elevaite365 Test Automation’s self-repair tool automatically updates your test scripts so you can keep moving forward.

From Static to Adaptive

Siefert asks Perri to describe the single most important aspect of this shift from traditional to AI-enhanced automation. “If I had to pick one thing, it’s the shift from static, hard-coded scripts to truly adaptive and self-learning automation,” explains Perri. “With traditional automation, you’re always playing catch-up. Scripts break every time. Dynamics 365 changes and maintenance become a full-time job, but with AI-based automation, the system learns and adapts alongside your business.

“The competitive advantage is clear. You’re not just automating tests. You’re future-proofing your quality assurance … In today’s world, that adaptability isn’t just nice to have, it’s a must if you want to outpace the competition.”

With elevaite365 Test Automation spearheading the category, Siefert asks: “How did you stumble upon this? How did you think about this? How did you strategically plan to fill this void?”

Perri explains that elevaite365 Test Automation was born out of decades of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics implementations. “After seeing too many projects slowed down by manual testing, visual automation, and the relentless pace of updates, our team realized the industry needed a radical new approach,” he says. “We brought together deep Dynamics expertise and passion for AI to create a solution, purpose-built for cloud ERP, one that could keep up with constant change, not just react to it.”

For Perri, what really sets elevaite365 Test Automation apart is that the solutions it delivers have eliminated typical roadblocks. “We’re not just improving test automation, we’re redefining what’s possible, giving organizations the freedom to innovate without fear.”

Community Summit North America took place October 19-23 in Orlando, FL and is the largest independent gathering of the Microsoft ecosystem. Attendees had the opportunity to see Perri discuss the transformative capabilities of AI-enhanced testing in person.
